I'm not sure how many of you are Londoners; I hope all of you are safe after today's atrocious and cowardly attacks on your public transit system.
God be with you...

Thanks for your support. I am 200 miles away in Blackpool so am not directly affected. My sympathy goes out to all the families affected.

I am about 400 miles from London but that makes no difference. The fact that London has been hit yet again brings home the fact that this can happen anywhere (UK or world wide) at any time. My thoughts and prayers go out to the famillies and freinds of the injured and the 37 (reported at this moment) dead.

Thanks for the support - I'm about an hour away from London, so am not directly affected. Many of us have friends there and are relieved that they are ok.
All our sympathies go out to those who are hurt and the families of those who were killed.

I live about 90 miles away from NYC where the WTC once stood. I've been to the U.K. and I worked with their very fine military for a couple of years back in the 80's. You do not want to know what I feel or think. I'll just say you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

my condolances, and thoughts travel to the old country.
what could possibly motivate someone to cause so much damage?
maybe this shouldn't be dwelt upon.

LOVE HEALS
"LOVE THINE ENEMY" a wise man said;
and make him soon your friend,
that by this wise expedient,
all wars and strife might end."
"And let us pray, that come it may,
as come it will for a' that,
that man to man the world o'er,
shall brothers be for a' that."

I too am very disheartened at what has happened, my prayers go out to all the families and friends who have lost loved ones and I would like to thank all of the British soldiers who have stood side by side with our soldiers in Iraq to combat this evil.

Today's (July 21) new explosions made me think of the five years I lived in London in 1977-1982. It was calm then, except that one day on my way to my workplace an IRA bomb had exploded. I think this will lead to more of us living in the countryside instead of big cities.
