What is a good site to buy Dell parts? I have a Dell demension 4550.. The system cooling fan went out.. It was making a funny sound 1 -2 months ago, now receiving an error message when I reboot.

Is it under warranty? Give DELL a call and they would probably ship one to you. Otherwise, get a scrap part from ebay? Or just get a typical PC fan that should be pretty universal.

Dell parts all proprietary. Just call Dell and bite the bullet. You'll overpay, but a CPU fan will probably be cheap.....

Please re-read my post. You will probably have to order from DELL. Their systems are proprietary............

Sorry I miss understood. I will contact Dell to get the CPU fan.
