Windows Longhorn and WGF 2.0

Ok, Longhorn seems to have some pretty extreme requirements. One of the things that got my attention was the introduction of WGF 1.0 and WGF 2.0. Yes, it's true that the latest cards from ATI and NVIDIA support, or will support (in the case of ATI's yet-to-be-released R520 Fudo), WGF 1.0. However, would these cards support WGF 2.0, or would I have to wait for the next wave of cards that support WGF 2.0 and things like LDDM?
