Just reinstalled Win 98 & Scandisk Defrag & 98_2 upgrade give me an insufficent memory error. Can anyone HELP???

Thanks Ranchdog Iv'e been there & just been there again as well as to technet and have came to realize that a person who is as search phrase impaired as I am could spend years there trying to resolve his or her problem.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del on the Desktop and shut down all programs, except Explorer and Systray.
To prevent these programs from running at startup, go to Start/Run, type msconfig, click OK/Startup, uncheck the boxes for the programs you do not want to run, click OK, restart the computer.
Also, if you have 64MB or less of RAM, then install more(128MB min. total, 256MB recommended).

Thanks Sky I tried all that & I've got 256 mb of ram so I am just going to copy 98_SE to my second hard disk and run sysrec from there & see if that works.
