Is it just me or is Opera's email client still buggy, even in 6.0?

Forwarding an email is invariably an illegal operation. Even sending newly composed email sometimes doesn't work quite right.

I'd use Eudora, but unless you pony up $30-$40 or use the "lite" version, it installs spyware.

I'm running 98SE, all the critical update patches installed. If someone else tells me they have no problems with it, I'll try and be a little more specific and move to Software Troubleshooting for help.

BTW - newsgroups are something I've never gotten into, but would like to. Can anyone tell me if Opera's news client is a good one to get started with, or if there's a better free option I should choose?

I've only just started using Opera but don't think I'll be using its eMail because I can't seem to format in rtf - or can I? Love the browser though.

You can subscribe to newsgroups in OE - totally free.

I very, VERY rarely forward email's-to me it's perpetrating Spam.

I've not had any problems using Opera's email client for normal access; though i still default to OE, the full outlook is too bloated for personal use IMHO.

You should go in a check you mail client settings { SMTP } to make sure you've configured them correctly for your ISP's POP account.
