hey why doesn't anybody use the chat room?

It is not true that no one uses it, but it is true that it is not used a great deal... It requires that several of us who have time and interest are online at the same time and usually I don't bother unless I see that at least one other person is there already... Since others may do the same thing, it is less likely that anyone will be first and then attract others...

If there is something that you would like to discuss in particular, you could post that you will be there at a certain time (being careful to indicate what time zone you are in) and that you would like to discuss ?? topic...

Second best thing is to go in when you first get here and leave your speakers on but minimize the page and go back to surfing the forums. When someone else enters, you'll hear them come in.

3rd best: If you don't have speakers on, open chat, then maximize the forums but grab the left verticle side of the page and slide it to the right slightly. You will be able to see a piece of the chat page to the left of the screen and you will be able to notice if anyone enters the chatroom. Meanwhile with the page on top, you can surf the other forums.

Sometimes people go in there, other times not. It's a hit or miss thing with more success at night beyond 10pm EST.

but the best way is to use 2 monitors :cool:
