You'll probably have to go with english here Daniel55. I speak some spanish but not enough to help you in a reply.

He says, Periodically he must change the motherboard battery. What could be the problem?

To be honest, I've bever had to do it, so I wouldn't really know why one would go dead periodically--especially since I thought most modern ones are the rechargeable type. Maybe someone else here can help.

If he must post espaniol, I suppose we could survive with the less than perfect ttranslations at:

I was at Radio shack about 3 months ago and they slipped a spare mobo battery in with my connectors purchase and it is ust laying around as I have never had to replace one either.

My question would be: Does this pc sit for long periods of time not running, therefore the battery has time enough to discharge? Possibly some peripheral attached via usb or some other way that is causing a slight leak in the mobo circuit?

One more idea would be something like a screw or washer grounding the motherboard so either a barebones boot with the board on cardboard or at least a search for something grounding the board (by removing it) may help.
