Memory Question...

ok, so i have 2 x 512MB(1G) of Rosewill PC3200 SDRAM. my question is, is it recommended that i stick with the same brand if i want to buy another stick? or is it okay to mix and match different brands of RAM? i've heard that i need to stick with the same brand throughout.

You don't have to stick with the same brand but I recommend it.

You can technically mix & match RAM, but it's often more trouble than it's worth for most people. I personally can do it most of the time, but then again I always manually configure all my RAM and know how to match it. :rolleyes: If you don't know what "Trc" means, just buy another stick of Rosewill. ;)
