system restore??

Hi,

I'm using XP, and when my PC reboots after I've tried a system restore I get a messege saying system cannot be restored this point no matter what point I choose.

It might not be connected but when I tried a system restore ten minutes ago it told me that drive E was excluded. Drive E is a portable hard drive that is not connected at the moment.

Drive E should nort affect. You only recieve the message because it is not attached.

Do you have SpyBot SD installed? If so do you have TEATIMER running?

If so try stopping TEATIMER from running and then do your sytem restore. I have just spent 4 days discovering that this program (TT not Spybot SD its-self)) stops Sys Restore from working. As soon as I turned it of I had (and since then have had) no problems using SR.

I am now running without teatimer, you could try stopping it do your restore and then restart teatimer if required.
