Limiting user access to most things.

Stand alone pc.
Win XP pro.
Admin, one user account.

My goal is to set up the user account so that access to any drives/roms, control panel, right click is denied, but leaves the admin account full access.

I think im on the right track by using gpedit.msc and user permissions.

Is this the best way to do this ?

Just make them a user and you should be OK. Try it out....

Jiggy you are correct. If you want a more granular permission control your going to have to use group policy.
