I apologize if this message is off topic.

I am taking a college class that requires me to conduct online surveys under a professor’s supervision. As a result, I have created a short online survey on political decisions. The survey is short and should not take more than three or four minutes to complete. If any of you would be willing to participate in my survey, it would be greatly appreciated. I am not collecting any personal information, nor will you be spammed.

If you are willing to participate, please click the following link

http://sitemaker.umich.edu/jginges2/social_attitudes_survey

If you have any questions/comments about the survey, post them here, and I’ll respond to them.

Thank-you for your help,

Amanda Lamb

alamb,

I took your survey. Glad to help. :)

For the very cautious:
This is a political survey concerning a hypothetical situation. I recieved 5 cookies. Two from lessons.ummu.umich.edu and three from sitemaker.umich.edu. I can find nothing else downloaded to my computer.

Looks ok to me, source code didn't turn up anything suspicious...Contact address plainly posted, clearly related to the University of Michigan, the URL confirms that.

In the fine print at the outset you are informed that both Java and cookies will be applied.

I did take the survey and did post a comment on the site regarding how the survey question was presented.

Thank you all for helping me out. Yes there is java script. It prevents you from taking the survey more than once, and if you are a US citizen you are given "US questions" and "non US citizens" are given "fellow citizen questions". Oh, and the click to continue button directs you to one of three versions of the survey. But seriously, that is all it does.
