:) I was surprised to see that I haven't posted anything here since late 2002!
perhaps I should be happy that I haven't needed to ask any advice.
Looks like I've had no problems,no computer problems anyway.
(Until today, i realised I need to buy a new power unit, the fan does not start until I have prodded it a lttle. But I won't bore you with it).

I just wanted to ask if it's possible to disable the irritating popups that
shows when we move the pointer around in the forums?
Was that really necessary? It's bad enough that Microsoft is forcing a lot of things upon us that we don't need and don't want, and wich we have to spend a lot of time to stop.

Sorry, just felt like grumbling. My age gives me a right to :p

Are you talking about the keyword ads? If so that only happens if you are not logged in.

I just went through the PSU situation myself. I didn't want to pay $40 for a proprietary HP 215W PSU. Luckily I had a new case lying around for another project with a 400W PSU. :)

Thanks Jlreich, but no, I mean the popups that shows the content of the posts before you have opened them.
I can understand that it might be convenient, but I still find it irritating.
And it doesn't help to be logged in.

Not that it's a big problem, but even small problems are good enough
for me :)

I could stand to live without them too but if you click on an area anywhere other than a link they dissappear until you move your cursor again.

Also lot's of times I tend to move my cursor to one of the four corners of the screen and use my scroll wheel until I see a thread I want to open, then I bring the cursor over and click on it.

At least there isn't any in this reply page.... ;)
