Call the manufacturer of the PC and see what gives. They need to fix it or replace it.

Absolutely...Use that warranty, it only lasts a year and they will do everything they can to avoid actually honoring it in most cases. I've gone as far as threatening to camp out in front of Circuit City's door if they didn't get their computer fixed while it was still under warranty. (35 days warranty left, they wanted to wait me out) The guy didn't believe me so I asked him if he wanted to go to the truck and look at my sleeping bag...I had been bugging tech support by phone for almost a month already, ran the restore disk at least 6 times, I wasn't going to accept anything but FIX IT...and I was going to be sleeping in front of the door until they did. First thing you'll see every day is ME...MAD...They got the hint...
If your computer is still under warranty, and especially brand new, be nice the first time then be their favorite headache if they don't fix it and fix it right, until they do. In most cases they will either fix the thing or simply send you a new one just to shut you up.
