Firefox Flash Problem

I use Mozilla Firefox and today when I was browsing on the Queens of the Stone Age site and it said i needed the newest macromedia flash plug-in, So i downloaded it and nothing changed. I even uninstalled Mozilla and still nothing. Can anyone help?
