PING attack please help me

I have been ping atacked and i know this because my PC cillin detected it with the time and date and senders IP....

I was playing online a multiplayer game and some guy said he was going to ddos anyone that beat him... and yes i was one of them.

what shall I do?

If PC-Cillin is a firewall, you should make sure it blocks his IP, if not get a firewall at once and make sure you block him.

Since you have his IP address, you con do a whois and figure out who is ISP is. Contact his ISP along with his threat. Also contact yous ISP. This a-hole will either end up w/o internet access or arrested.

1) Easiest, give your ISP the IP address
2) go to a site that lets you do WHOIS such as http://www.dnsstuff.com/ Note it may be better to let the ISP actually approach the perp as they know the laws regarding Terms of Service violations inside and out.

Keep a copy of that firewall log as well.
