So you're wondering if you talk too much huh? Not at all 'ratchet jaw'... :D
Actually the problems you and everyone here ask for solutions to is what this place is all about. We like helping and the challenges are enjoyed as well, 'motormouth'.
I had my share of problems when I joined and still do now and then. I didn't know JACK about pc's when I signed on. Now at least I do fairly with hardware and somewhat with some softwares. Reading threads teaches me plenty so keep on blabbin', I'm listening... ;)

When I first came on board I would track threads I had an interest in and attempt to solve the problem without posting. I would try and get into the heads of the helpers and try to figure out why they were asking the specific questions they did...
Some seemed totally unrelated to the problem...but inevitably the questions the pros asked were critical. I looked at the learning curve like playing a trivia game.
We've some members here whose computer saavy is absolutely incredible! Stick around if you desire to learn about computers. And as Fruss mentioned, ask away... The great thing about the PC Guide Forums is that you will never find the regulars here putting any one down for wanting to learn! ;)

There are no STUPID questions.
If we have a problem and don't know how to fix it, we may not know the ternimoligy,
but it is only by asking that we can learn. Over time we (hopefully) learn something.
And the time WILL come when someone will post a question that YOU will know the answer to because others have not had the problem in the past. That is one of the beauties of computers, no one individual can know all the answers, and some folks can give answers to software, some about spyware and some about hardware.
Keep asking, and by doing so you teach me (and others).
but some of the questions I have asked in the past were for very simple problems

I too feel like I don't contribute as much as I should here, but when I can it feels great....... I enjoy helping people with their computer problems. At work I am the goto guy when someone is having computer problems at home.. I don't charge people for helping them(well that's not 100% true :) I do charge a pizza if I have to go over to someone's house). I just like problem solving almost as much as I love pizza. And for the most part I feel that the users here like problem sloving and help people too..
