You OC'ers take note...

Ridiculous? Yeah. Core thermal runaway? Probably...er, uh no doubt. Usefulness...none, other than calculating Pi to 1,000,000 places. Why do it? As William Jefferson Clinton said when asked about the intern in the Oval office thing, "Because I could." Yes, that's a quote.

I guess it's interesting--in a watching two trains collide sort of way--the overclocking, not Clinton and "that woman".

Amazing the crap geeks think up to do with a perfectly good processor.

THese guys are candidate for my "Blue Skillet fo Death" award (obscure reference to a Saphalline thread).

I don't know, do you think spending the time and money on something like this, then posting your findings, would win you a seat on Intel's design board for their next processor? Seems to me this person has something on the stick that Intel could use

Now I would like to hear more about this "BLUE SKILLET OF DEATH"

Very interesting...

I wonder how high my own P4 could OC with extreme liquid cooling...

Hmmm...

And at that point, if a 7GHz P4 takes only 18.5 seconds to calculate pi to 1 million sig dits, how long does a normal P4 take? This could turn into an interesting benchmark! :D

It's now fairly obvious that overclockers should move to Antarctica.

Heh...good one, Paul K.
There['s another one that was overclocked to 7.22GHz...not much of a difference, but. I wish I hada liquid cooling system now. I got these fans everywhere though.
