I'm just happy I made a successful recap :D
I cant believe I was able to repair a defective motherboard using only a single ungrounded soldering Iron.
Im sure you want to know how i did it. Well, i just replaced all bulging caps. :D :D Its not very big impressive but hey ! it was my first, and it was successful :D and i got a handsome payment (1800 pesos approx $38) ;)

Way to go RIO!!!
I haven't even fired up a soldering iron/gun in a long time! Good to know it can be done. Any more details? What board? Where'd you get the caps? Is this what you do for work? It's your thread, brag away! :p

Any more Details?
check out http://www.badcaps.net (found it using google) there's a very interesting history about these bad caps.
The problem was the computer was constantly restarting. It;s running fine in DOS but when windows load (even in safe mode), The PC restarts. I used memory scanning but there's no error reported. I opened the case and the first thing i noticed was the bulging capacitors so i started searching the net. After collecting info's I started the repair.
Just a tip when repairing someone else's board, make a waiver that replacing these capacitors will not guarantee that the board will be fixed. I almost encountered a problem with these.
The son of the said that they will buy a new computer if I cant fix his board. So i suggested i try recapping. After I removed the caps, the son said that his parents were planning sending the pc to a new technician. There could have been a problem if the pc did not boot.I was thankful the pc was fixed.
What board?
it was p4mdut.
Where'd you get the caps?
just on a common electronics shop about 2 provinces away from me now.
The replacement were bigger than the original so i have to trim the heat sink,
Is this what you do for work?
nope. I just tried it.

Hey cool! I can't say as I've had the opportunity to do a repair like that. Nice to know it can be done with reasonable success. Now I just have to find a broken mobo with bulging capacitors...
