performance went down!!!

my laptops performance went down
at first at start up my pf usage was only 120M then while i was on it wuld go up to 170M
now when i start my laptop it starts out at 230M-270M and goes up to the 300 even 400 even 500
wut is the problem!!!???

a minimum im runnin only the necessary ones like my firewall, the power, and necessary things

ok this sounds like spyware/adware.... post a hijackthis log in the security forum and someone there will tell you how is looks. (I don't know alot about that program myself...)

your pc may be infected with a virus try updating and running your antivirus or your spyware to be sure and one more thing can you please tell us what programs are running at your start up?
