Over the past couple of days I have to repeatedly sign-in to the site.

I have also tried to delete the attachments I have uploaded, and are being stored on the site, but get an error stating I am not signed ( I am)vAfter inserting my user name and password yet again I ma told I do not have permission to delete my uploaded attachements.

Default browser is Opera (latest version) and I have checked to see if the site cokies are stored and they are.

Nothing has/had been changed in my settings prior to this starting either on the computer or in the forum USER CP

A few things that come to mind: delete the cookie(s) and start over, try another browser (briefly!) to see if that changes anything, defrag, and maybe scandisk.

LOL! I love the avatar Saphalline.

I told you Saphalline was from another planet. :p :D

Wait a minute. I was the one who asked if he had pinted ears and green blood.

Only one thing could make it better--carrying the dreaded "Bllue Skillet of Death".

Hehe, yeah, after that GPU/VPU thread I made a little friend in Paint. Took me about two minutes to slap it together. :D I'm experimenting with various other avatars.

What do you think of this 486 die pic?

Gald you told me what it is. It kind of looked like my office for a sec...brown furniture, brown boxes, blue walls and window blinds.

Well, I kind of squashed it into a square, but I'm still experimenting. I might pick another die pic, but the 486 is nice and simple so it lends well to a small pic.

What? You couldn't tell? The left blue boxes are the cache, the right "window" is the execution units, and all that brown stuff you mentioned is the control circuitry (FSB, DMA controller, etc). You think I should keep the original shape? Or zoom in on a certain area?

I'm open to ideas. Just trying to find an avatar that represents hardware... and all that stuff...
