long distance

I am looking for a howto/tutorial or just any info I can find on setting up a long distance wireless network. I basically need to connect two buildings' networks together. I realize this is probably going to invove an antenna (or two), but I just can't seem to find very much info on it. Thanks.

yes, the buildings are in line of sight from rooftop to rooftop

Using "line of site" + wireless parameters in a Google search turned up quite a lot of information on both non-line of sight and line of sight...

Is it possible to install signal boosters in between the buildings somewhere
