Hi all,
I'm looking for a utility that would allow me to set times on when a user can log in and when a user would be logged out of their computer. Does anyone know of any such software?

Thanks

Well if you are on a network the domain controller can be set to do just that for each user. For a standalone PC I am not aware of any programs that will do what you want.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s for a stand-alone computer.

DO you want to totally inhibit access to the PC, or just to the net?

If you want to do something like limit kids' (or whomever's) to no access at all during certain hours, or place other less Draconian restrictions, about the most suitable thing I can find is this: http://www.aquariussoft.com/pc-lock-up/

I can't vouch for the package. I've never used it. It's just what I was able to find after searching MajorGeeks and Googling.

Agree with pop pop. If you Google, you'll find some but you have to wade through a lot. Here are a couple of more links:

Yeap, thats the kind of thing I was looking for. I've got a daughter that I want to be able to limit her time with the PC. That's good stuff.

Thanks a lot guys.
