Kinda, sorta...they have no plans to offer IE 7.0 except to XP-SP2 and 2003 Server from what I have heard.

It only happened so that MS could try to crush FireFox... They didn't like FF claiming almost 10% of the market... I will stick with FireFox when I have a choice...

To combat the on-going issue with its integration into windows MS has decided to rename IE to WIE (WINDOWS Internet Explorer). By simply adding the word WINDOWS MS has effectivley thumbed its nose at the courts. Also the above logo for it is wrong.
