View Full Version : changing the interface of wireless networking

hi

im currently using the interface which is similar to the one in picture 5, (from the top) in the following link

and i want to change it to the one (in the first picture) in the following link

http://8help.osu.edu/2178.html


if anyone who is readng this and knows how to change it, then please reply to this thread, as it will be highly appreciated..

basically you can use windows XP interface to manage wireless conections or interface supplied on your wirelles card driver disc.
You can change them by going to network connections -> right click on wirelles connection -> properties -> wireles networks tab -> uncheck box "windows manage this wireless conection".
Then the program from driver disk needs to auto start with windows. The interface of each program is different, depends on the manufacturer

thanks for your reply, but i have figured it out, well basically i upgraded to service pack 2 and it done it itself...

so i was happy...
