Wireless card and router

I have a Toshiba laptop w/ an 802.11bg internal card.

Where does this fit in the different cards like the "b's", "g's", etc?

If I buy a new router is there some that won't work w/ my card?

Yoy PC will work with the Wireless B and Wireless G formats. Look at the Linksys Wireless G model. Works great.....

I would stay away from datalink and belkin router, nothing against them but just have had a lot of problems configuring them in the past.
I agree the best choice is either linksys or netgear
