Ok GEEKS and GEEKETTS, this is by far the most astounding thing in the computer world I have seen.
At this very moment, my head is in a full throb headache trying to read and understand all I have seen today.

Here (http://www.pressdemocrat.com/business/news/18wireless.html) is a news artical from my local paper about some local folks.
Nothin but a bunch of geeks around here http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

HERE (http://nocat.net/) is a link to their site. Be careful going to any of their links. These guys make "Point-to-Point" dish antennas from Pringles cans http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
This stuff could be addictive http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

sounds pretty darn wild as long as you have a couple of comps.one just for that purpose. what i'm i'm wondering how long it would be before the FCC would get involved? Just like they did with CB Radio's (setting signal boosts), got nailed one time for running a linier that would go around the world with out having to skip. Definatly interfered with radio,tv,phone reception for 6sq miles, At least they didn't fine me just confiscated my linier. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

never got into linear (burners) but got france & the channel islands whilst on holday in glasgow on a standard mobile unit in the car, (about 400 plus miles) not bad for a rig that 'supposedely' has a range of 3 - 4 miles eh ! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
