I would like to upgrade my motherboard without upgrading my videocard at this time, but want to leave the option open. I was wondering if there are any motherboards with the 754 chipset that have both AGP and pci-express 16?

They are available, but Newegg only has one listed (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813153036). I am not familiar with the manufacturer of the mobo.
These are not true AGP slots, but compatible AGP. Personally, I think that this just leaves the door open for possible compatibility issues with drivers for an AGP card, doesn't appear to support dual-channel memory, and you are limited to 2GB max for memory. There are always trade-offs for this type of technology.
Yes, you gain the capability of going to a PCI Express X16 card later, but that appears to be the only upgrade option (outside of adding SATA drives) you will have with this type of board. I guess it would be your call.
You could Google and see if there are any others available, but I suspect that it would be a short list.

Personally, I don't think it is worth it. Save your money and then get a MOBO and videocard upgrade.
