If you know what the Porgam is, you can fix it with Hijack this. Tick the box by the entry, and then click on the button "fix checked". Before you do , ensure that all other windows are closed.
Reboot, and delete the folder C:\PROGRA~1\SOFTWA~1

The trojans reported by Macafee, aare in your system restore files. TO clean them up, you must delete all the restore points, and reboot. Then ste a clean rester point. See http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?showtutorial=56for a "how- to" .

that thread was actually posted in the wrong room that ended up being a cooling problem, after cleaning everything I ended up not having anymore issues.

the suggestion that was posted before you worked so far is there anything else that you see wrong?

This is malware and needs to be fixed:

O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/1441468...ip/RdxIE601.cab

We never did determine what this was and if you want to kill it, it would probably be good to know...

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SOProc_RegSoAlertAjWx1Nn] rundll32 shell32.dll,ShellExec_RunDLL C:\PROGRA~1\SOFTWA~1\soproc.exe -pack RegSoAlertAjWx1Nn

If you do just want to kill it, the new version of KillBox can do it if you paste this into the line for killing it:

C:\PROGRA~1\SOFTWA~1\soproc.exe -pack RegSoAlertAjWx1Nn

Here are the KillBox instructions:

Then copy/paste this list into a Notepad file so that you can access it in Safe Mode... Boot to Safe Mode (tap F8 just before Windows starts loading and select Safe Mode)... Choose the "Delete on reboot" and "End Explorer Shell while Killing file" options... Copy/paste the entire list into the line for the file... It should be able to accept the whole list, but if it doesn't you will need to enter them one at a time... Do not click through to close it out and reboot until they have all been entered... Once they are all entered, click through to kill them...

My sincere apoligies

that is the link or path to download real player so it just needs fixed right?

I am not sure exactly what you are saying... The O16 is malware called Netster and it is bad... Spyware if I remember correctly... You need to use HJT to kill it... The other line refers to that soproc.exe, not to the O16....

As david eaton pointed out, the trojan is in System Restore and you need to reset it to get rid of the trojan... It is not active while it is in System Restore, but it could become active again if you use a Restore Point...

Great...

Here is my prevention speech with ideas to stay clean...

This is a good time to set up protection against further
attacks. Read the article linked below about "How did I
get infected". You need an antivirus that is updated, a
good firewall (a router firewall is not enough) and a
spyware blocker like SpywareBlaster and also IE-Spyads.
All of these have good free versions available... be very
cautious about any security software that advertises in
popups or other intrusive ways, they are not only usually
useless, but also often have malware in them....
