How can I change my IP, I have cable ?

It is a WAN address assigned by your ISP.
If you want to hide your PC from the Internet, a router will give you a LAN address scheme like 192.168.xxx.xxx instead of the WAN address assigned by your ISP.

But is there a way to change my IP address without an router, are there programs for that, or something?
