Shortly my Wife and I will have been married fifty years. My Four Daughters are busy planning an event, Not for us but for Mummy`s 50th wedding anniversary. What happened to my 50 years seems to have been forgotten. They even ask me questions such as. Do yo think we should have a special lunch or dinner for her, what do you suggest she would like for a present/s etc. Are we males not included in such events and are just bystanders :rolleyes:

Hehe...4 daughters! I have a suspicion that perhaps the female perspective here is that we're celebrating mom's putting up with you for 50 years! :D Just a thought! :D

Congratulations! 50 years is indeed noteworthy. I've been of the persuasion for some time that the governments should honor anything past 10 years with cruises etc...this stems from my thoughtful consideration of the fact that intact family systems probably save the governments money in the long run...;)
