Help??? My mouse won't show on my screen. I tried using my other computers mouse and same thing. This happened suddenly and for no apparent reason. I can get into all programs by using arrow keys but cannot click on things. I have been searching all over the internet and one thing I found is that it could be the mouse housing unit? It's an Etower 366id. Any help or suggestions out there pleasssssssee?

if you can navigate to device manager, remove it and reboot, allowing windows to find and reinstall it.

Grrr..I have a bigger problem. This might require the use of explosives and a hammer http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif I did what you told me to do and got to device manager and cleared the mouse, rebooted. The system searched and reinstalled the mouse. But it didn't work. And there is an error message that says
Rundll
info: caused a general protection fault in module mmsystem.dll at 000a:00000032. and something about registers bytes and stack dump
