I've used the Tabbrowser Preferences extension since it came out. I recently updated it (via notification) to 1.2.8.1, maybe a couple of days ago. One of the things I like to do when going through this forum is to just click "Home" (PCGuide is home :p ) and boom, I'm back at the starting page. Since the update, when I click home, it starts a new tab, in the foreground. So, I have the first page of PCGuide, but in a new tab. That's not what I want. That's not what I had. Before you ask, I did go to the settings, and the "Load the following in new tabs:" options all have no effect whatsoever. No changes in behavior take effect no matter what I select.

So I went to "about:config" to look at the config file settings. I can find a bunch of browser config settings, but not this one.

Has anyone else seen this problem with the update to this extension? Is there a way around it by changing the settings via "about:config"?

I have never been able to figure out the settings in Tabbrowser Preferences... It is clear it was written by a geekier geek than me for other geeks... I just have learned to live with the way it seems to do it each time it changes...

For those interested ... Tabbrowser Preference just updated again and fixed the bug I described. I'm a happy camper again. :D
