I upgraded to Windows XP from Windows ME. Now, when I boot the p.c., I get a blue screen with no icons on it. I want to reformat the hard drive and reinstall Windows ME. How can I go about this. Thanks for the help. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

XP sucks in this way
It is suposed to save me OS - and, if you have to abort XP installation, is supposed to restore me - Yeah right
You should be able to restore me with your CD w/o reformating hd and losing all your data
May have to reinstall application software to satisfy registries which now don't know all your stuff is really there
that will at least get you back up and running to try again with XP
I assume you tracked down all your devices and loaded XP comaptible drivers etc
I also assume you checked that mother board BIOS can handle XP
I bought 4 XPpro for 4 PC's - have it in one and the others sitting in boxes since November - my heart isn't strong enough to handle the trauma
