View Full Version : dvd burner possible on this pc ?

Hi,
i want to buy a dvd burner. I'm thinking of a NEC 3540 (or mb a Benq 1640).
But i was thinking, will it work on the old pc i have ?
I have a pentium II 400 MHz (asus p2b-s mobo) with 640 Mb RAM and Windows 2000. I've got 1 scsi drive of about 9 Gb and 1 7200 rpm hdd of about 18/20 (not sure) Gb.

The drive will work fine. You need to check out the software that comes with it. What are the system requirements of the software, that is the key.
