I was using NERO program on my computer. I do not how i created a command for a drive image. My problem now is that when i go to my computer there is a "phantom" drive which was assigned letter D. My real drives now have letters E for the dvd an G for the burner. I want to erase this from the MY COMPUTER. when i look for info on system info the " phantom" cd appear as one independent cd. When i delete it from here it keeps appearin every time i turn on the computer. Any idea how i can get rid of this phantom cd image?
THANKYOU VERY MUCH

Which OS?
If Win9xMe you might try going into SAFEMODE and REMOVING the drive in DEVICE MANAGER. Reboot and see what happens.
If that doesn't work...I wonder what would happen if you REMOVED in SAFEMODE, shut down and physically pulled it from the IDE cable...reboot and see if the drives are reassigned. Then, replace and see what happens...just a thought!
Don't know if you're running NT or XP or 2000...
