Troubles with to play games.

Hey (Jeremiah),
I've done a formatt of my hard disk. No problem. After I've reinstall Win Me everything seems normal. But whene we are playing games at the beginning the sounds are iterrtupted and the movement of the figures sometimes blocks. Before reinstalling win Me I did not have this problem. Does somebody knows what te problem can be ?

Have you reinstalled the drivers for your Video Card also? And/or, have you reinstalled other required drivers?

Can somebody who has win ME please check what kind of driver he has ?
Check:
- my computer/device manager/sound,video and game controler

Your driver should be specific to your video card chipset { ie; nvidia geforce/tnt or an ATI model like rage }-the generic driver included with window's ( 95 and up ) is intended to give you just basic video functionality.

You need to find out what make/model of video card you have ( or if it's built into the motherboard what make it is ) then go to the vendor's website to download the correct driver.

For instance, if it's intergrated video on an Intel motherboard { say an i810 chipset } then you would get the video driver from Intel's website.
