Opera browser finally is available without ads for free.
Version 8.5

I like Firefox a lot but this is finally getting interesting, more choices!

:D

Ain't it the truth! I had used Opera in the past and now have decided to re-explore it. Over the next few days I'm going to give it a workout, but I like what I have seen so far.

It seems to load faster than FF in my opinion, especially graphic intensive pages. I love the Trash Can also. A lot of times I get in a hurry and close a page when I didn't really want to. Click on the Trash Can and bring it right back without jumping through hoops.

I guess it will just intensify the "wars", but I think that's good.

Did you check out the multiple page opening feature? It keeps them loaded within an upper task bar in browser... I clicked on the demo  :D

Opera regulars, what do you do to control the ripples when scrolling? This is one area I find Firefox has an edge.

Not sure if you've found the problem by now or not but go to Tools>Preferences>Advanced and make sure Smooth Scrolling is ticked.

I also apologize for bringing up an older thread but wanted to make sure you found a solution.

Actually smooth scrolling was already ticked on mine.

After replying to you yesterday, I was reading the threads here and saw a lot of your posts. It's evident that you would have already thought of that. Sorry about that. :)
