I finally got my spare computer to work, but now it's asking for the certificate of authenticity numbers. I can't for the life of me locate where I put this certificate. Am I completely out of luck or is there something I can do?? It will not let me get any further without these numbers. This is an Intel 366id. I very well doubt they will be of any assistance if I try to get the numbers from them.

Well, on some computers, the authenticity numbers are on the inside of the computer. Simply take off the side pannel(s) and look in.

That's one thing we can't help you with. Bypassing software license agreements is a form of software piracy, which we do not support or promote.
Please realize that we do understand your position, but having no way to definitely verify that you do actually own the software that is installed on the computer, we can't help. Telling you how to get around the license verification would be the same as copying the CD ourselves and installing it on a dozen friends' computers.
The Rules, Policies and Disclaimers (http://www.pcguide.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=agree) that we all agreed to when creating our user names states:

Unless you can send me a scanned image of your license, I cannot allow posting of information regarding how to locate the numbers you need. In that case, however, you would not need our assistance, the numbers should be on that license.
I don't mean to be cold, but I do have to protect the reputation of the forums, as well as consider the possible legal issues. sorry, but this is not the place to get the information you are asking for.
