no internet

my adapter is connected to the router. i can't seem to access the internet on my adapter connected computer. the signal is fine...can anyone help?

its a desktop wirelessly connected to the router by a
netgear wg111 usb device

to a
netgear wgr614 router

the settings match

but when i open my browser this message appears:
the connection was refused when contacting yahoo.com

i have tried turning off all firewalls but that doesn't help

Can you get into the Router firmware? What is your IP address?
