I love ViewSonic. I have a VP191B2 (professional LCD) that I paid a bundle for.

As for that spec though...reviews by sources I respect (TomsHardware) have shown that the response time spec is ALWAYS exaggerated by EVERY manufacturer...they found in a recent review that this particular spec could be overblown by as much as 300%. Add to that the fact that ViewSonic, and maybe others, are now using "average gray to gray" while a different manufacturer may still use the traditional "black to white". So how do you compare apples to apples there?

Response time is one measure of the quality of an LCD monitor, it's not everything and a purchase definitely should NOT be based solely on that one spec.

I have the VX924 Viewsonic 19" monitor which is 4ms response time 'acclaimed'. It's darn fast alright but quite pixelated for watching dvd's (or any video) so if that's what is nore important for you, don't get one.

But then if you are a gamer, have at it.
