Hello all,
I've got a quick question, I am in nursing school and every week we have fill out "careplans". The problem is that the .doc is full of cells and as people type they are unable to see the entire cell. If that occurs then they will move make the cell longer but then block out the text below the cell
Is there any way I can remove the cells and still keep the same format?
I am going to attach the Word doc so you might have an idea what I am talking about.

I downloaded the file and looked at it. I guess I don't understand the problem or I couldn't duplicate it. It's a fairly functional form with one exception--the text box on the first page where (I think) you are asked to click to make certain selections. Maybe that needs to be changed because it doesn't work, at least not the way I expect.
The short answer to this; "Is there any way I can remove the cells and still keep the same format?" is I don't thinks so. When you remove the table formatting, all your other text is going to move, effectively negating the formatted "look" you had.
If I had more time I might be able to figure something out, but it's late. The form seems to work fine for me except for the one thing I cited.

pop pop's short answer is correct. If you convert the table to text you remove all other formatting rules. If you look at some of the table properties, you will see that some are set up with tab order while others have formatting rules for paragraph style. Then there are other formatting rules that have been set e.g. fonts, table widths etc. All of these will change.
For example, on the Diagnostic Studies table, as you know when you type in the results of say the hemoglobin, hematocrit etc, these are all Bold fonts. If you convert that table to text, then the Bold is gone etc. This can effect the width of the table and other aspects of the formatting too.
Unfortunately that's just the way it is. As pop pop said, the form is a fairly functional form.

Thx for looking at it for me. The problems I am having with it are minor... I've been able to work around them. Thanks again :)
