Hey all,
I just bought a Sapphire X800 GT for one of my systems. This card has a default 8 pixel pipelines. It also uses the x800 XT core....
I found that if you flash the BIOS of the x800GT to the x800XT (both sapphire), the you can unlock more pipelines. I have a stable 12 pixel pipelines.
So for computer elites that know how to do these things, this is a great deal!

Not to rain on your parade here, but I just thought I'd put in a cautionary note on this one. Sort of like a PCG Disclaimer, if you will. ;)

Come to think of it, people might wanna check that they have the r423 core. If they have the r480 core, then flashing with the x800xt will probly render the card useless.

warning, make sure that you have decent cooling on this card when you do the mod (watercooling preferably)
