Hi all, need some help. My co-worker uses Win98se at home and I believe he uses I.E. 5 via Bellsouth and a Westell modem.

When he clicks on to go to the internet, the page is huge, I don't mean just the fonts but the whole page. He says he can see maybe 1/4 of the page on the entire screen.

Could you let me know how to resolve this. I can't remember lol

Thanks a bunch! :D

Have him check the View setttings on the IE toolbar when he is connected to the internet.

you mean to check the font size, small, medium....well he said it wasn't just the fonts were too big, it was the whole page, like say for instance on this page, seeing only "Gracious, Master Geek" and the icons blown up to cover the entire screen and that is all you can see of the page.

Sorry, that was what I was referring to. I don't use IE (except when I have to do a M$ update) and thought that might be the solution. I can imagine the text size being increased, but not the size of the icons. I'm sure someone will have the solution. :)

Maybe pressing the F11 key will adjust it.

Try checking the screen's resolution by right clciking the desktop, then properties, then the settings tab.

Thank you all for your help, as I suspected, he didn't tell me what else was enlarged and as you might guess, the desktop was also effected and so I proceeded to tell him to go into the display properties and change the resolution. Sorry to have trouble you guys, should have known but when he said it was only ie....I gave him a noogie LOL
