Hi All,

I got a problem. My computer is not working properly if I log in as my own account user (it's a member of administrator, and set up at the time I bought my laptop. it still log you in, but afterwards you can't do anything, but the mouse is still moving. I can press ctrl+alt+delete to bring up task manager and then I can't close the task management.

I have other user account kids, it can log in no problem. I also ca log in as administrator, but strangely there is nothing in my user account under documents and settings. I can't even open it.

Any body can help me. I go so important data and emails under my account.

Thanks,

Try logging into your own account under safe mode and see whether that makes any difference.

It would probably be a good idea to check your system for viruses with an on-line scan, while logged in as administrator.

If your folders have truly disappeared you may need to try recovery software to (hopefully) find their contents.

Thanks Paul.

I have used Bart PE ot recover back all the files.

Thanks to God. I nearly heart-broken.

Good news. Out of interest did the "disappeared" folders simply come into view under the BartPE CD? - when they were hidden from view when attempting to access the folders "normally". Or did you find the files using other software running from the CD (I know, for example, that www.runtime.org supply the add-ons to run their software from a customised CD)??
