Command Prompt basic question

I know this is very basic but I don't know where to make a change so that I can have my command prompt started as usual as [ C:Documents and Settings\PoohBear>_ ] because it now always appears as [C:>] only.
I am truly grateful for your help..

Set the Command prompt default path to a certain directory

I find the PowerToy cmdhere.exe from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx very useful since you can easily get any path shown directly from MyComputer
