This guy brought me his daughter's HP Pavilion 7855 today.
It has an Asus CUW-AM mobo and Intel 810 chipset.
According to HP's website the BIOS is either from Congac or Sante Fe. At least that's what is has for updates.
Problem: When I plug it in, it fires up and gives one short beep. About a second later it gives a second slightly longer beep then shuts down.
Anyone familiar with this BIOS and beep codes?
