i use a little fan & a heat sink.
it maybe helpful to you
keep vents clean too.

Yes, I just cleaned my sister's pc a week or 2 ago after nearly 3 years.
I was coughing up a lotta dust and I used a whole roll of paper towels to clean the dust.
