hi to all...
i own a ten(10) units internet cafe type/gaming on a LAN setup...my problem was Win98SEs instability...it frequently crashes...or is it the software...i've got RA2,Yuri's Revenge,Battle Realms,Quake3,Diablo2,Max Payne and CS 1.3...i usually have problems with CS 1.3 it always freezes...I am very much concerned about these coz Im afraid that my players will go to other competing shops.
I am considering an upgrade to either Win2k or WinXP...I am favoring Win2k coz Im not in favor XPs Product Activation...and Ive read in a magazine that I can get almost 80% of WinXPs goods in Win2k...I need second opinions on to what Windows I'll use...please consider to your advice that Im using LAN setup for the games...thanks in advance.
I have 10 units with AMD Duron950, ECS K7VS5A board, 32 mb GeForce2 MX200/64 mb ATI videocards, 256 mb SDRAM, 20g HDD, Edimax NIC LAN cards.
