Hiya's
I've installed the 77.77 drivers,(significant increase in benchmarks over the 71.24)
Everything seems to be running ok except in Device Manager I have 3 devices that
have yellow question marks next to them.
1-Other PCI Bridge Device
2-PCI Memory Controller
3-SM Bus Controller
Would it be ok to try and roll back these drivers, or would that conflict with new ones. Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to try highlighting and then Properties>Driver Update and let Windoze look for the driver...

Thnx for the reply whyzman,

Tried that, " the wizard cannot find the necessary software"
Tried rolling back the drivers 1 of them worked, still have 2 to go-
1-Other PCI Bridge Device
2-SM Bus Controller

That's odd. Those sound like chipset devices, albeit rarely used ones. I wonder what they refer to?...

The SM Bus controller is a common device. Come to think of it, that might be directly tied to the others... Hmmm...

Have you tried updating your chipset drivers? That might work.

Thnx for the reply saph,

I recently installed new chipset drivers 6.67, (prior to 77.77) now here's a dumb question....
When I go to remove drivers in control panel, there's no option for chipset drivers, only Nvidia drivers. Will I have to reinstall 77.77 driversalso?

Update...fixed :)

1.Uninstalled all Nvidia drivers from control panel.
2.Re-booted into safe-mode
(windoze tried to install new hardware, cancelled that out)
3.Ran Driver Cleaner Pro ;)
4.Installed chipset drivers,and forceware drivers.
5.Re-booted, re-set display resolution(default drives me nuts)
6.Installed coolbits to re-tweak my vid. card :p
7.Re-booted again...all looks good(my cyber biotch is happy again) :D

thnx for the help guys!

Wow, you had to totally remove them? Drivers are funny that way. Or maybe it's Windows... :p Ah well, at least it's fixed, eh? :D
