I've been having weird problems for a while now that I believe are cause by the power supply, but also could be the mobo. The first prob that started was that about half the times I turn on my comp, The fans, LEDs, etc would all come online, but the computer would not post and the monitor would not come online. Most recently, my DSL modem has been losing its link and the error message in XP says "network cable disconnected". Also, many times some of my USB peripherals would just shut off. Also, many times when playing graphic intensive games, my computer would lock up at random times. All of these problems happen completely randomly...never brought on by specific circumstances. Sometimes I have no problems for a week and other times, it happens constantly. The really weird thing is that I finally found a way to temp fix these problems. Any time this kind of stuff happens, I can shut down the pc, and pull the main pwr cord from the back of the pwr supply. After a couple of seconds, I plug it back in and everything works fine for a while. Please offer any suggestions you may have in isolating the problem. Thank you.
